In a recent incident in Kolkata, several police personnel, including a sergeant and a sub-inspector, were injured during a confrontation that ensued at a birthday party on Anand Pali Road. The incident began after Lalbazar received a call on the emergency 100 line, reporting loud music or sound coming from a house on Anand Pali Road. Following the call, the information was relayed to Entali police station, and officers were dispatched to the location.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police discovered a birthday party in progress, with reports suggesting that many attendees were intoxicated. A verbal altercation erupted between the police personnel and the individuals at the party, resulting in harassment and physical assault on the officers, including a sergeant, sub-inspector, and a civic volunteer. Two individuals, identified as Prabhat Sarkar and Bapi Sarkar, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
